Howdy!

Cassie, Casey and I went to mom and dads this weekend to spend a little time. It sounds like Loni and Courtney are getting hitched September 22nd at 1:30pm at the Newton church. We thought that during that weekend we all might help mom and dad get some of there stuff from Grandma Rigby's house and separate out what to keep, throw away and send to the DI. That is if you are all game. Anyway, we probably need to help get their garage cleaned out too, but that will most likely require a whole other weekend?! Mom is planning for a family BBQ at her house September 30th (Sunday)for lunch. Bring salads, desserts, rolls, chips. Mom and dad will supply the meat. The BBQ is in honor of Stephanie's, Colby's, Cody's and Dad's B-days and all the recent weddings. Just a fun day to get together and enjoy each others company. Hope you can all be there. Congratulations to Chantelle and Natasha on their baptisms Saturday. Way to go girls! Sorry we couldn't be there for it. It sounds like Tana's wedding reception was just awesome and beautiful. We were so sorry we couldn't be there, but had already made plans for the holiday that couldn't be broken. :-( Well, our latest news is that Cassie and Casey entered several pictures and drawings at the Cassia County Fair. Both of them did really well with first, second and third placings. At our Fair they only give out one first, one second and one third place and the rest don't get anything. So the kids thought they were pretty lucky to do as well as they did. We will have to post some of the summer Rendezvous pictures and trip to Washington and Oregon pictures to share. I am not very adept at it, so Craig will have to help me once he's off his 7 12 hour shifts in a row for start up at the factory. Yucky!!! Way too much work. Talk to ya all later.

More Maughan Campout pictures

Well, I'm finally getting around to more campout pictures. I'm trying to figure out the procedure as I go so it takes me a while. I need to get more proficient at this. Here we go. . . .
Loni, Courtney, Lacie and her fiance, and Dylan came up on Friday and spent the night. It was fun seeing them again. Dylan is a go getter. Then Todd, Susan, Tia, Brody, and Traci came up on Saturday. They brought their 4-wheelers so plenty of riding was done on the trails in the surrounding area. Amber and Brandy came up on Saturday too. Brandy had hurt her foot at work and was on crutches--so fun! Then we all decided to go to Minnetonka cave. We got there later in the afternoon and all went for a tour. The little girls all loved the magical sights in the cave. Marcia didn't want to hook up with any bats so she didn't go in. Brandy wasn't up for the walk and neither was Stephanie with her bum knee so we stayed out with Jason's baby Kaden.
It was a sight for all. Oh yeah, Alexis cut her foot open on Friday evening with a hatchet while she was chopping wood with flip flops on. Steve and I had to take her to Montpelier to the emergency room for 5 stitches. She's shown her in a picture with her weapon of choice! Mom had a nap sitting right up in her chair. It's amazing how she does that. Loni and her crew left on Saturday before we went to the cave. Marshall and his entourage of little girls are shown in one of these picutres carrying on the family tradition of squirrel hunting. They are all posing with the fresh catch! Todd and his crew left Saturday night after dinner. The rest of us stuck it out until Sunday before we broke up camp. It was a really nice area to camp and fun was had by all.
Hope to see you all there next year!

Hey! Vegas was a blast! It was super hot, but none the less we had fun! I can't tell you everything that happened because we all know what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Ha ha kidding! We did a lot a lot of driving!!!! However, we made that somewhat fun! if you wanna know a really funny story you will have to ask us in person, cause I don't know if I want to display the information on here ha ha! We went shopping. Amber loves to shop and she likes expensive things! So if you know a rich man, tell her ha ha! Kidding! We had lots of fun shopping though! Then we went to shark reef. Its inside Mandalay Bay. That was really neat! I will have to scan the picture of us there! We also went to Cirque Du Soliel...I don't know if I spelled that right! Oh my heck that was so neat! I would recommend it to others! It was really really cool! Even Amber liked it! It was a great chance to get away and do what we wanted to do! We both were dumb and didn't bring a camera. Stupid we know ha ha...Amber also forgot her toothbrush..ask her about that! ha ha. However, we both have pictures on our phones and I don't know how to download those to the computer. But I can send them to phones if anyone wants to see a few! Have a great day!
