Welcome to Antarctica!
It has been snowing in Burley ALL DAY today, and I swear we have about 10 inches of snow. But lucky me I get to be home and warm, Casey on the other hand is freezing his butt off deer hunting. I was informed that they got two 2 points, but Casey still hasn't got his, the hunt continues tomorrow. My mom's plans to visit grandma & grandpa were foiled due to the snow and not to mention the Interstate was closed. So, we spent the day shoveling snow and shoveling snow and did I mention shoveling snow?? We did also spend some time cutting out levi squares for quilt tops. It's hard to believe that just 3 days ago it was 80 degrees here! Were did autumn go? So here are some pics to show just how deep the snow is.
Ok so maybe its really not that deep...

Natalie!
So to answer your questions Natalie I am still living at home. With the people I dare to call my parents :D ...pics explain everything.... I'm not going to school yet, but this next fall I will be hopefully starting at CSI and working on getting into the nursing program. Right now I am working at Parke View as a CNA. It's a fun job and I like it a lot. The residents at Parke View are very nice, well most of them, and they are so funny sometimes. The other day I had a dementia patient try to answer my hand haha she thought it was a telephone.

I AGREE
I agree..what is new with everyone?! Cassie did you move out? Where are you going to school? I thought you were..That's neat about getting a job! What do you do? I'm guessing something with nursing?
Well everything is great here in Green River. My parents came and visited us this last weekend. My dad hasn't been here yet so that was nice. We had fun touring the town....ha ha not that there is too much to it. I will tell you though its just nice to have family come visit. Grandma, Grandpa, Marcia and her family actually have come also. However, Brent and I are just working. School is great..my kids are so sweet and nice. The community is so great..lots of parent involvement. We are doing well..no complaints here. Hope everyone else is doing awesome!

Fort Bridger
We just got back from the Fort Bridger Rendezvous. It was good to see Natalie, Brent and his family, mom & dad, Marcia, Severo, Colby and Kylee up there. You'll have to have Severo show you the palm leaf hat he bought, he looks pretty cool in it. It was good to see everyone and visit for a while, it seems like forever since we have been to Newton or had a chance to see anyone. We went to the Rendezvous with seven other couples from our blackpowder club. For meals we had each couple fix one meal (breakfast or dinner). That made it so easy. We either got lunch on our own or threw in together with sandwiches and chips. We didn't shoot at all this rendezvous, but did get in on the knife and hawk throwing competitions and primitive archery. The archery is a blast! I even have a big bruise on my arm where I got twanged from the string. I had to use Craig's bow and it has way more pounds of pull than I am used to. One of our club members has a cannon and we went up to watch the cannon shoot as well. They shoot as this big target on the hill several miles away, that is a kick. Anyhow, I also ran into Raylyn and ValJay Rigby and their kids and Troy Jenkins and family. That was weird. I knew the Rigby's came to them, by not Troy. It took Troy a minute to recognize who I was. That day I had my hair in two braids like Indian ladies wear it, because it was so windy. He said the hairdo really threw him off. We did get rained on all Sunday night and Monday and we had to put all of our canvas back up when we got home to dry it all out which was kind of a pain, however, we did not get wet in the tent. Good to know it will hold out some pretty wet weather. But you could see on the inside of the tent you could see, almost like sweat beading up. If we would have touched the walls I am sure it would have ran like a sieve. We also got stuck a couple of times getting out of the Rendezvous, so again it took longer to leave than we planned for. Thanks to good friends and ones we did not know, getting unstuck was relatively simple. All in all an awesome week spent in good company and with good food.

Update from the Mulveys!
Hey everyone! How are you guys! I was so excited to see everyone at my wedding! It's always fun to be together with family! Thanks to everyone for all their help and support! I just wanted to update you a little on whats going on in our neck of the woods. Brent and I went on a cruise. It was awesome! We went on a helmet dive and then to some Mayan Ruins. When we were on the helmet dive Brent got a little motion sick..you kinda sway when you are on the bottom of the ocean..and he ended up throwing up in his helmet. Well he hurried up to get the puck out of his helmet and we were swarmed with fish! ha ha they ate it all up before anyone else even knew. It was funny. He would kill me if he knew I was telling everyone. I just think its a pretty funny story! Well we are mostly settled in our home! I still am going through some of my crap! But I am trying to get my room set up at school at the same time, so things can get crazy! We are enjoying every minute of it though! What is everyone else been up to? I will try and post some pictures soon! Love ya, Natalie
